Never want to go there again, the food is terrible, most of the staff are unprofessional, medical is a joke, when the meat comes with a label that says for inmates only it makes you wonder what the hell is in it. They say it used to be a label that read not for human consumption, CCA owned food is completely different from the other prisons tdoc.
Mrs. Hill it Mrs Perry call back ever.. I have left numerous voicemails. My fiance made parole a year ago. And when they went to release him last week they couldn't because of something going on with paper work and time.. he has been away since 2014. And it's may 2017 . This is crazy.. you would think they would have all there ducks in a row before they went to release someone and get them all the way to the door and say oh you have to go back up stairs.
Not even worth the words. Worst place still standing. Can't believe it... Just wrong all wrong!
Spending 4 years at this facility was definitely a experience, as said by others this facility needs some serious re-programming specially within the Administration, they spend most times on lock down status to prevent working and worry too much about simple decisions that should be common sense, coming from a former TDOC officer within State Facility's I never expected to see or experience what I did at this Facility, It is a Prison yes, but programming inmates and rehabilitating them is impossibly done at this facility due to the Management and Structure is is founded on currently, I don't understand why its taking so long for the Commissioner or his Designee to realize this.
The system here is truly terrible. They don't even deserve a one star. It is understandable that they have to go on lockdown when certain incidents occur, but they are completely unprofessional and rude when you call. I called to get info on my fiancé because they were on lockdown when he got transferred there and he has been there over a week now and they are still on lockdown. I asked if they knew when they would come off lockdown or if I could please speak to a counselor and I heard someone in the background say "just hang up." I understand it is a prison and the inmates have committed crimes, but they are still human beings with family. If the staff is that rude and unprofessional when dealing with me, I can't even imagine how they are treating the actually inmates.
